Personal Finance Management:

This course was created specifically for blue collar workers, who cannot afford extensive planning assistance, to better understand how to manage their finances. The course covers concepts such as budget planning, debt management, debt counselling, savings and investments.

It also educates the candidates in the manner in which some financial products deliberately exploit blue collar workers, versus available saving schemes that cater specifically for their needs which   can facilitate them in reaching their financial goals. It provides practical financial solutions, tailored specifically for their income level.

Computer Literacy Development:

This course is taught in modules and therefore affords the opportunity of being presented over a period of   either 1, 2, or 4 weeks . The course is tailored to provide workers with an opportunity to develop specific skills in an area other than mining. The aim is that in a downturn, when many workers are retrenched, they are more equipped to find other sources of employment.

To this end we partner with mining companies to develop an affordable solution that uplifts employee skills and morale, though at the same time enables mining companies to retain staff while enhancing their corporate social responsibility image. The course is customisable, according to the corporations needs and covers basic Microsoft Office as well as basic Pastel Accounting. There is the availability to include a Microsoft and Pastel Accreditation upon completion of the course.
